Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera (Yayasan Peneraju) is an agency under the Prime Minister’s Department (Special Functions) that focuses on strengthening the capacity building towards the sustainable of Bumiputera talents in line with the government’s efforts to drive Malaysia towards a high-income nation through its structured academic, TVET, professional, technology and specialist certification funding programmes.

Labour work requiring high skills set, especially within the technological sector is predicted to be in huge demand, in correspondence to the development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) in Malaysia. The launch of the technology industry forward in 2018 and the introduction of the blueprint, MYDIGITAL in 2021 became the starting point in the implementation of technology programs in a more focused manner. Yayasan Peneraju has taken a proactive role in helping target the growth of labour work with a higher skill set.

Since its inception in 2012, Yayasan Peneraju has introduced more than 4 sponsored programs within the technical field, both part-time and full-time. These programs are designed for students on the entry level all the way up to final year students as well as professionals. The main aim for these programs is to help increase high skill employment through obtaining professional certifications from well-known technology accreditation bodies like, Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA+ and AWS.
